Nikah Service

What is Nikah?

“And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.” – [Ar-Rum: 21]

The Nikah is the equivalent to marriage in english. It is a sacred and solemn social contract made between bride and groom. A Nikah must be performed between the bride and groom in order to be Islamically married. It is performed by Masjids Tawheed’s Imam. The Nikah ceremony means you are Islamically married but, you are not legally married until you obtain a marriage license from your local government, or go through the dedicated processes your local government has in place to legally marry its residents

As the bride, you will need a Wali (guardian), we suggest that both the father or brother of the groom and bride be present. You must also bring a marriage license from your local town clerk otherwise the Nikah will not be conducted.
